Description
The Spirit of Plainville & the Plainville Parks department will be hosting the 2024 Tree Lighting. We will be opening the James Humphrey House, Plainville’s History Museum for the festivities. We will be opening the Museum at 2 PM and stay open for the Tree Lighting. If people are interested in visiting afterwards we will keep the museum open following the 5:30 ceremony.
As with all our events we will be collecting non perishable food items & reusable bags for the Plainville Living Bread Food Pantry and we hope to be the main drop off point for collecting for the event. We may have surprise gifts available for our visitors that do so and a revised Holiday Scavenger Hunt.
Last year we brought three large totes of items to the Food Pantry after the Tree Lighting using one car….let’s make it SEVERAL cars full!
